Are pharmacies open on Sundays in Italy?
Some are โ every area operates a rota so there's always one open, called the farmacia di turno. Any closed pharmacy posts the current rota in its window with the address of the nearest open one, and towns list it online. Look for the green cross; when it's lit, they're open. Normal hours are roughly 8:30โ13:00 and 16:00โ19:30 on weekdays, with many closed Saturday afternoon and Sunday. Larger stations and airports have pharmacies open long hours daily. For a fever at 11pm in a small town, the rota is the answer and your hotel desk will know it.
